Piece

 

Materials- my photo, paper cutter, and a cutting knife. 

Process- I printed out my photo and I took one of the photos and using the paper cutter I cut by 1/2 an inch. I weaved the paper in and out of the other picture I didn’t cut to make this effect. I then use the cutting knife to create my border. 

Idea- the idea is how someone tries to focus but “their head is somewhere else” it’s like your there but your mind isn’t.

I used a knife to cut out the circles to turn them.  Idea- My idea for this project is the feeling of focusing while having ADHD. When trying to focus nothing seems quite straight.

Progress

 For this piece I want to continue with how it feels to be on medicine. I’ll set up a wall with newspaper, and have a person sitting in front reading a book. I’ll use photoshop to blur the words on the newspaper out.

  Materials- iPhone camera  Process- 1st photo I took a reflection of the mirror   2nd photo I had a friend hold the camera facing her then took the photo of her reflection   Idea- the idea is of ADHD medication and the focus it creates without any distractions
